Restoring an SP370, it's been waiting about six years but I have trouble summoning up the enthusiasm for four strokes.

Cleaning, polishing and servicing all 3 bikes. (H2c, Z1 and Suzuki GS1000S)
First year for ages that I don't have a restoration project to curse over!!!!
Time to spend time on the nice stuff for a change!

Nothing at all. My 2 bikes are ready for the spring 2015. Havin' said this, I gave my H1d a good Christmas Eve ride out. Steel blue sky, low humidity and 8 degrees C. Ohh my word ... triples like the cold and little humidity. She performed like a star.
As for now ... it is MERRY CHRISTMAS from me to all of you and a happy & save season next year.

The old bikes are tucked up for winter but I made the mistake of buying my daughter Rachel an old Mini which she has wanted since she was about 9 years old! So it now needs new suspension, big bore exhaust, big wheels, big lights and lots and lots of rusty holes repaired!

Took the big one out for a ride and while there was room I moved the Moped back onto the workbench.
While I was having a bit of a tidy up I found a pin that looks suspiciously like a bearing roller from the inner recesses of the Moped engine... Aaaaaaghhh!!!.
I'm reluctant to strip the bleedin thing again just to count the rollers in the bearings but will probably have to.. dam..

Christmas Day resprayed the tank on my beamish Suzuki trials bike and fabricated a new air box lid for a KH400, (unobtainable)
today went to the VMCC Boxing Day meeting at/near Parbold, then washed and dried the bike, it was bloody filthy!
(And it was bloody freezing)

Just been to the shop to do a few jobs and get some orders ready for dispatch, but it was way too cold. I came home and have decided to put all my efforts into finishing off off my 2nd tin of Quality Street
