An Event for your diary: The Lord Mayor of Portsmouth’s Grand Motorbike & Scooter Spectacular: Sunday 5th April 2015 from 10:00am & 4:00pm. Venue: North Harbour Lakeside & Castle Field, Southsea Seafront. There will be a Motorbike & Scooter Ride-In to Castle Field, which starts at North Harbour (Lakeside) IBM Building, PO6 3EN, riding through the city and arriving at Southsea at 11am. If you would like to be part of the ride through the city and onto Castle Field there will be a £1 per bike entry fee which will be donated to the Lord Mayor’s charities. We ask if you would kindly be assembled at North Harbour IBM Building for 9.30 am to leave around 10.30am for the ride through the city and onto Castle Field. The ride will be supported by the Royal British Legion Riders. At Castle Field there will be hundreds of motorbikes on display with trophies awarded for “Best Overall Bike”, “Best Custom, “Best Classic, “Best Modern”, “Best Rat”, and “Lord Mayor’s Choice”. There will also be a variety of stalls for all of the family to look around, a bouncy castle, military vehicles and vintage police cars to view and refreshments and live music throughout the day. Please circulate details to fellow bikers and scooter riders so we can maximise attendance and also contributions for the Mayor’s charities. a damp start to the morning, but only from overnight rain, but early on a good collection of bikes

probably about 200 bikes or more eventually turned out for a ride through Portsmouth to Castle field, Southsea seafront

The only Kawasaki triple yes mate there were a couple of kettles there though , in fact one won best classic Thumbs Up
