WoW
Won best H2 attending the owners rally at Basford in 1994!
Paid £350 in bits ,complete, apart from the rear shocks in 1992!
Thats my daughter Sarah in the background, She is now 28!
Sold it for £2750 in 1995! And it was a british one!
Originally imported into the Isle of Man by Shenco Motorcycles of Ramsey.

Came back to the UK and was reregistered as DJA 300T
It was advertised in the triples magazine for £395 5 miles from my house!

Phone was Red hot with calls while I was there!!!

I think I recall an article in the club mag about that one. The photograph of it in bits looks familiar?

Hi Tony,
I see you're in Leics and I'm sure that's where it went after I sold it, so guessing you bought it locally?
I managed to get the long rear mudguard from a guy in Canada...he kindly brought it with him when he came over for a holiday in London in 2005. I drove to his hotel one evening and he was standing outside holding the mudguard so it would be easy to find him! He refused to take a penny for it so I took him for a few beers instead.
Never had a problem with that bike, always ran well, hope it stays the same for you.
Steve

Would that be John Woodmore? Did you buy it off Alec Austin or did I sell it to Alec Austin Steve ?

Rick...I bought it from Nigel Willoughby in Cheltenham (Yamaha collector). The rear mudguard guy from Canada was Jim (can't remember his surname) from Edmonton...unfortunately, we lost touch a couple of years later.

I had 125mph out of two up with Toupee dave.
He was videoing it at the time
One careful owner and then me
Think I did bout 3000 miles on it so its not done so much in the last 21 years!
Rode it to the Nottingham rally one year!
Went to the TT on it twice
I will see if i can dig out the article in the club magazine

HI ALL.
Yes the bike was bought locally only about 20 or so miles from where we live.
if you could find the article you did for club mag it would be very interesting.
