Engine seized on H2 on way to Ace yesterday , on middle centre cyl , throwing the conrod and making a right mess, thats why i did not make chaps !

Was it the original crank or had it been rebuilt?
Hope you didn't damage the cases

Chris Ritchie did the crank in 2007, and a rod has holed the bottom case , also the center barrel is u/s , liner damaged , on 72.5 mm bore anyway so near end of life ! ps did you have trouble Sunday or one of the others, being all massed on the hard shoulder

the cases could be repaired usually but you must find a real good welder. :smt003

Sorry to hear that.
We stopped just before the junction as I went onto 1 cylinder. Could see a bike up the road after the junction and thought you were waiting for me/us to get sorted. Got going but decided to leave the motorway - not a good place to be if the bike is cutting out. Turned out to be a cracking day.

There is another 2t day at the ACE,Sunday Sept.20th
