Funny that when I booked up evening owner greeted me with "hello Mr Sam" as if I was his regular customer! In fact I have not been there since last year's exmas meal with the club guys. Within a few moments he poured me a lager, gave me a Times to read while he dealt with a very busy restaurant! Place has had a makeover

just a thought as you have a good relationship with the curry house could they not do a similar £20 a head deal like with the other Christmas Indians which would make it fairer on those who don't eat or drink as much
as some of us
Sorry if that is already the arrangement but if not it's an idea and maybe worth asking them about

To ensure we can choose what ever we want to eat, it will be total cost of food with one drink included. Divided equally. Further drinks to pay as you go.
