UK Triple - Not ?

Here's one for you guys ... have seen a 750 that could be for sale but its in Germany
Not exactly ideal and maybe nothing will come of it ... but am told the bike still has a V5 and HRV 681N plate
Being over there for some years does that make any odds ?
Can it still be used on that plate back over in the UK with no probs, or does it get knocked off the list so to speak
I assume when exported its removed from DVLA, so would it need adding/ reimporting again if that all makes sense
I searched the plate and it still shows as being registered/untaxed etc, so maybe not
Could I just get on and go or is there other red tape to this ?

Sounds like they didn't bother to reregister it in Germany??

Can't see anything wrong with that. It's on the DVLA database so you just need to MOT and insure it. You'll pay the vat in Germany no doubt and as long as that is stated on the invoice you won't have to pay any vat over here.

you could just decide it was not permanently exported, so no need to get into paying import vat.
and what is fishy. Scouse ??
DVLA don't have any damned record of mots on bikes they've registered themselves at the moment . something screw up with the VOSA. Not system switching to being an online set up.

Being on an N plate would it be originally from 1974/5 ?
Date of reg says 1998 so an import already before ?
