Im thinking of getting a set of Doremi exhausts for my H1B , They do a set for the A which are close enough for me , I have Higgspeeds fitted at the moment I met Neil the Don the other day to collect my paintwork which was first class by the way and I took my standard silencers for him to have a look at but they are just a bit too damaged to make it viable to restore them to the high standard I am looking for so I am looking at a set of new Doremis, has anyone got them from abroad and if so how much did it cost after shipping , customs ect or can they be got from the UK, Neil said I should try Z power any feedback will be most appreciated.

Thanks for that I will give him a call tomorrow, looking at the web site for Japan, its 142.500Y + 33100y postage, which is £1067 plus £8 customs and 20% vat I make it £1289 thats a lot of money for pipes I will need to see if they can be got a bit cheaper hopefully or I might just have to annoy the neighbours again with my expansion pipes.

You are right that's £869.25 + £8 + £173.85 that I think I could manage that ill give Z power a phone and see what their price is I'll go for the cheapest and there's always the remote chance I get away with the customs well spotted with the free postage a new set of standard pipes would just compliment my new paint job and powder coating.

I have a complete set of H1b pipes/silencers with all the fittings but they have a number of dings most are out of site when fitted on the bike. The chrome is beautiful but they do owe me a lot of money. I can fit them on my H1a and take some photographs so you can see how they look. I bought them from the States and the prick I bought them off packed them poorly and they got damaged in transit and went to ground when I tried to get hold of him.

Got mine from z power , in stock & good price with club discount , quick delivery & any problems with them easy to resolve instead of trying to deal with halfway round the world .. I always feel its better to support uk companies that pay tax in this land & employ fellow brits for the sake of a small surcharge , after all its just my hobby not life or death .... imho

+1
Although I think it's in our DNA to try for a bargain/save costs, as most of us come from an age where we had fuck all (and probably had more fun as a result...) and had to duck and dive to get through

To this day I sometimes get drawn subconsciously for Supermarket out of date 'bargains' when I could probably buy the whole shelf

The price between Z power and buying them direct was next to nothing and it's less hassle buying from a Uk dealer rather than messing with customs ect but as Z power never had any I have bought them from Japan direct.

WeMoto are seriously looking at triples stuff from Japan.
They have some top notch z1/z900/z1000 stuff in now.
The exhausts, tanks and side panels were excellent quality so maybe worth keeping an eye out
