Hi there, anyone know if you have to send your original photo driving license/paper counterpart along with V55/5 application, or will photocopies of both be OK

Photocopy is fine, it's in the guide (V355/5) that you get with the V55/5

BUT, make sure you send the originals of ; US Title or Dating Letter
And M.O.T. certificate.
It`s a sign of the low level thought process down there,
but if you sent a photocopy of the MOT they`ll reject your application.
Even though they have access to it electronically , and really don`t even need you to send it !!
( Same as a NOVA. They can check online for a nova approval with the VIN #. But expect you to TELL them what it is. DUH. )
Oh, and the latest piece of pish is , if you use a Dating Letter you now have to provide a covering Letter telling them why you are offering thati nstead of a non-uk registration certificate. As if it`s nor fecking obvious !!! " Dear DVLA , I have paid an addtional £40-50 for a dating Letter for this application, because I decided I can1t be arsed sending you the original foreign logbook. " Erseholes !!!!
