Can anyone please give me the installation instructions/ details for the KIC disc? I bought a parts manual/ disc earlier in the year and now want to install it on my new computor
but bugger me have misplaced the details that came with it

Insert the CD and at the question page:- load 'KIC only', if the program won't run from the desktop icon, then run the CD again and this time load 'everything', afterwards goto control panel and remove everything to do with Partsmart (KIC), then load 'KIC only' one last time.
Enter your code when asked. :smt023

I just installed kic and it worked fine for me
oh btw I am running xp don't know if it works with vista??

So i can take that as a yes that KIC works with Vista Sam?
Have been trying to get someone to let us know if it is o.k. with Vista for Ages!!

Still cannot get it to work, keeps asking for a dealer number. Any ideas anyone?

Hello Ivan
,
If you PM me your e-mail Address I can post you the original & updated Install instructions in Word Documents if you want?
Normally when it asks for a "Dealer Number & State" - Leave it blank & ignore it! - It will then reply with a message "Dealer Number must be at least 4 Characters?"
Select "o.k." - It will then say "Do you wish to exit the Install?"
Select "Yes"
Select "Next" "Next" & then "Finish" & it will then prompt you for the Verification Code.
Just enter the Code & Bingo all done & Dusted!
