Rotor pin

Hi all
I've been trying a process of elimination trying to get a spark on my h1e and need a rotor,there's one being sold on eBay by Dk motorcycles but the pin has sheered off,has anyone had this before ,and successfully removed the inner broken piece ,or has anyone a spare that they don't need,mines knackered the bakerlite inner is missing a piece and the slip ring is dented,cheers andy

I have repaired them. The attached drawing is inch parameters. The broken pin is hardened. Someone competent with a mill can cut it out. Basically, using a 3/16 (or something very close) end/bottom cutter you are cutting a new hole at the same time you are "removing" the broken pin. The large end of the drawing goes in the hole. When you spin up the pin that outside diameter/dimension can be tailored to press fit your new hole in the rotor. Make the depth 20 thou as this will just clear the old pin out and keep the top flush with the rotor face. The smaller end is fixed in dimension.....it must remain as shown. No need to make it more than a snug press fit, no jb weld or anything. Once installed its held in tightly as the new larger bottom end is captured tight.
A half hours work is all. I only have a pdf of the file so I took a crappy picture for you.....sorry. And make yourself a spare pin as if you ham fist it and break it again you pop the old one out and insert a fresh one
