I received my car insurance renewal quote from Tesco today £664.04.

I went online and got a quote as a 'new' customer from Tesco for £390.49. Tesco's are having a laugh.

Called NFU Mutual Insurance and got a quote for £ 307.96.

I check on moneysupermarket every year and tend to just flip flop between three providers - Esure, More than and Zurich. Until last year when it increased for the first time, it actually came down a bit (or even a lot) every year for the ten years since I gave up the company car and started buying my own insurance.

They don't like grinders.
