German rally 2017 is at airport near Dierdorf 27/28/29/30 july

Bit of interest on farce book I have done a little research can get a ferry from North Shields on Thursday night arrives Friday morning 220 miles to rally site come back Sunday night dock Monday morning £290 sharing cabin bike only is about £45 each way but don't fancy kipping in a chair as it is an all night sailing .Anyone interested please post and we will take it from there.
BTW dates are 27-30 July

Ray it is DFDS it is the only one that goes to Amsterdam from north shields [Newcastle]

yes I can fit a h2a in my L2 connect van
My old 08 lwb connect would take a h2 at a angle
my old 14 plate L1 connect would take a s2 at a angle but a h2 you would need the rear doors open.
my new L2 connect will take a h2 at a angle, with doors shut

Just got a price off dfds and p&o dfds £564 p&o £402 the price would come down if some one wanted to share that's for 2 bikes 2 people

Ray I went onto the web site the bikes are about £48 each way unfortunately because it is an overnight ferry a cabin is £180 each way so if you share works out about £280 each

Steve stout is going in a van from near Liverpool if anyone is interested in sharing with him, there's room for a bike in the back

It would be easier for them to go dfds to Amsterdam than ride down to Hull

Anyone going overnight across the North Sea
Ray and I normally ride from Roterdam to Didam to Leo's house and ride to rally in convoy, those going to Amsterdam if your interested we could meet up at a service station and ride over with us to Leo's, its worth it to see his triples

GaryI think we will be getting the Thursday night sailing getting into Amsterdam Friday morning how does this fit in with your plans?
