Kawasaki Triples Club

Went out for the afternoon for a blast round Avon, up to Chew Magna and down towards Wells. Great weather and got the brakes bedded in a lot better. With the new holes they make quite a hissing noise, reminds me of one of the old Ducatis I used to have. But maybe it's because I was wearing a little open face helmet that lets all the noise in - these pipes are really loud when not wearing a modern full-face helmet. And so are the little ends and general rattles that I don't usually hear!

Bic, your drilled double disc set up looks so fitting to the bikes overall looks, far better than that 'modern'
caliper thing you had on there previously......

I know, that modern six-pot never at comfortably with me either. But at least the bike stopped! I couldn't live with the braking from the one original disc and caliber - just didn't feel like I could stop when it mattered.

But this set up is pretty much perfect for the bike. It doesn't overwhelm the front end like the Braketec caliper did but let's you use the full effect of those tyres and I can ride with two finger braking like on a modern sports bike which I like to do.
