Im sad to inform you that Pete passed away last week.
He was found in his garage by two people who had come to pick up a bike.
Pete former owner of Drayton Croft kawasaki, was 62 years of age.
Active on the forum and a club member Pete retained an active interest in kawasakis, restoring bikes in his retirement.
Petes sister in law Vanessa is due to hear from the coroner today but it looks like an inquest will have to be held due to the circumstances so the funeral may be some time.
I will keep you informed.

Ive received this from Petes wife Julie and she has given me permission to put it on the forum.
I do also intend to go to the funeral.
Hi Rick and Malc
The funeral will be on Sat May 6th at 10:00am in Canley Crematorium in Coventry, with the wake at home straight afterwards at Bell Meadow, Weston Lane, Weston-Under-Wetherley, Warwickshire CV33 9BS. Both of you and a guest are very welcome to attend, but Rick I guess you are in the States?
If you know of anyone else that would like to pay their respects to Pete please give them my email and ask them to get in touch. We are considering a Motorcycle Guard of Honour on the Coventry Crematorium Driveway but not sure if there are enough people of Pete's sort of age that are still riding? I would love to hear your thoughts/ideas on this? All riders very welcome.
It will be a "Humanitarian" (non religious) celebration of Pete's life and his love of Motorcycles.
The Celebrant who will conduct the ceremony will be Mr Steve Gayton. If there is something you would like to say at the ceremony, Steve can say it for you or arrange for you to have a minute or two to speak yourself. Please let me know and I can ask Steve to call you to arrange over the next week or so.
The Coroner has declared the Cause Of Death was a Pulmonary Thrombo Embolism resulting from a DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) in the legs and is classed as a natural death. We believe Pete would have just passed out as he turned around and walked towards the H2B Motorbike he was preparing for sale, which is a mercy I am grateful for.
Please feel free to send an email or call on 01926 632879, I am extremely lucky that family and friends are with me providing so much love and support, so I am Ok to talk.
Pete's loving wife, Julie Humphrey
