Kawasaki Triples Club

My H1A has two little paint chips I want to touch up. But before I throw myself at the mercy of RS paints, does any one have a little bit of the Candy Blue that they know is a good match I could Buy/Borrow/Steal.

Not a chance of getting that right with a touch up!
Just revel in the patina of use that a stone chip gives

Sure I have read it on here somewhere, try your local ladies nail bar; they have loads of shades of blue and you may find one that is close en ough to do the job for not much money. You could even get a little bottle of clear varnish to give it that extra shine.

Its a 4 layer process so you are never gonna get it spot on BUT nail varnish comes in metallic and its gotta be better than bare metal. I did have some left over from a previous paint job but binned it when we moved

Spot on , this is what I recommend too

I had a "touchup" but it was more than a chip. It was a NOS tank though so I didn't want a complete repaint



They fixed it though....but it wasn't cheap.



The fingernail polish is a lot cheaper and you can usually find a color that's pretty darn close, especially at a store that caters to younger teenagers....of course you will appear to be a creep so maybe wait until the little girls have left!
