ami parts on eBay.

Good day :) Has anyone bought parts from the above?
They have some sprocket and ignition covers I'm interested in, but they have some negative feedback, and I saw reference to some parts being reproduction parts.
I don't mind reproduction, if they fit! Has anyone had experience of reproduction parts?
They have "Japan" cast into the back for what it's worth....
Or should I stay clear, and wait for NOS stuff to come up?
Plenty of NOS stuff in the States, but the bloody Spanish gubberment rape me on import duties!

Sorry, yes aml the French seller.
I just bagged an ignition cover from the states, duties paid for less than 30 quid including the postage :) result. Worth the gamble at that price.
So I only need the sprocket cover from him if it's worth risking a copy.
I'm also after a mint clutch cover for a 75 H1F if anyone has one? Mines had a patch welded on it....

They look to be a potentially useful resourse to know about. Thank you Mick, or Rick.

I know him one of the french triple merchant and also K triple owner and rider. I think most of the parts he is selling are repro and he say they are on his site. It's the case of the sprocket cover as he wrote new and not NOS.

I ordered a H2 grab rail and metal left side panel from AML last year and did not receive them. He said the grab rail had been despatched and gave me details of his parcel company but their web site query service was in French.
I had to get a refund via eBay and the seller then sent me messages querying my dissatisfaction.
It's a shame as he had quite a few items I needed.
If others have had a more positive experience I may try him again.
Any other comments or experiences??

Thanks Hal, I bow to your prowess on google, I will now whip myself with nettles and swear allegiance to the mediocrity of Honda ownership whilst pushing ferrets down my budgie smugglers for being such a technophobe  Thumbs Up
I did try searching first but nothing came up, the parts he has look promising though Thumbs Up
Rich, looking for dock leaves and soothing balms

He hasn't answered my query yet, regarding shipping and whether or not the parts are repro or not, but as you say Husson73 he doesn't state NOS, so I must take it as Repro.
He does indeed look to be a good resource, but I don't have a good feeling for some reason, and pretty much straight away, Kawaclive comes on here with a bad experience, so I think Pole and Barge spring to mind here.
Thanks for all the comments Fellas ;)

Here's another one in France Hal, http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/patrickbras*c ... 7675.l2559
The fellow that Tartan Triple mentions. Thanks TT, I'll keep an open mind for now. As you say, the import duty stings a bit, especially here in Spain.
Cheers,
Mick.

Paradoxal.
Frenchs buy Kawa triples parts to our Simon Lister in UK while UK guys buy Kawa triples parts to some frenchs :D
Suggest looking Simon Lister first then other.
Patrick Bras sells quality repro parts he makes himself or orders to guys he knows who do quality stuffs.
Btw Tartan he doesn't live no more around Paris but South Est of France.
EMAC is a kind of french Simon Lister who sells not only Kawa parts but parts for all japanese two stroke. :smt004

But Kawa triples Parts doesn't have engine covers, which is what I was after. They have a listing for the generator cover, but it´s out of stock.
It doesn't really matter for me where they come from in Europe, as they have to be shipped to Spain anyway ;)
