As NW rep I have pleasure in annoucing the 1st North West Triples Rally to be held on 15-17 May 2009.Over the last few years I have been asked by many Northern Northerners !! to organise a rally, so here it is.......

Image

The rally will be held at Blackpool R.U.F.C. just off the promenade. We are sure the venue will be ideal for a rally having already hosted MAG rallies over the last few years. A new clubhouse will be opened on the 1 January with all mod cons. The site has 3 floodlit rugby pitches for camping along with 2 car parks for vans.Toilet will be open 24 hrs and washing facilities are available.A catering van will be on site all weekend serving hot food and drinks and the bar will be open as long as you want it to be.

We have a packed weekend planned including.....

Friday night rideout around the lanes of rural Blackpool then a Kawasaki Triple Parade along the Golden Mile (the promenade) with a fish & chip supper.Back to the rugby club where there will be a 70's disco with drinking till the early hours.

Saturday we have a rideout of at least 100 miles planned around The Trough of Bowland and skirting The Lake District. On return to the venue judging of the bikes will be held with trophies for all classes. Higgsy then has some silly games in mind with prizes !!! There will then be a live band with dancing and drinking till dawn !!

We will be offering an incentive for advance payments, watch this space.

I can't wait.Great effort by the lads, you are guaranteed a great weekend.Always seems to be good weather in may too. Also some of the scenery is absolutely breathtaking and there is plenty to see and do in a town that knows how to entertain.I am sure we can count on the southern lads making a big effort to attend the way that us northerners have done for the southern rally :D

We would love to see you here JP, a British rally will not be the same without you :D but you can't go everywhere, even though YOU do try  .

Its a struggle to pick a date that suits everybody, as well as the Dutch rally the date also clashes with the NW200  and probably other events.

Is the H1 Rally 'as well as' or 'instead of' the usual Dutch Rally??

If there are two will you and Ray be doing both?

by scouse
this is an extra rally

if I keep my job then yes we will be doing both
