Is there a way we can enter or have events put on Calender?
Our local meets for example??

Main events should be on as soon as dates confirmed.

No, no I see that I was right first time, I'm awake now.

There are two calendars, one for events (admin) and one for the Lads (users)! I have been trying to figure out the user one, but I can't see how to put an entry in there when every button I press reverts it back to the events calendar! and the 'post' button just tries to link the calendar to another site??

Actually... going into the calendar or pressing anything to do with the calendars, logs me out of the site completely!
:(

Nice one, like the pun there. Start off in July and cross the line in August.

Does the event / users calendar work then Pete, and if so , how? (see above).

Yes, the user calendar works well, I just entered my Birthday on there, see!

All you need to do is go to the calendar, click on the '+' sign and enter title of your event. Also click on whether it is an all day event or not.

If you want to enter some notes for the event you have to enter the event first and then go back an edit it. Not sure why this is but I will check it out.

I am sure the calendar is open to all members so please let me know if you have access. If not then I will open it up.

There is no plus sign.... there is a login tab at the top but pressing that brings me back to the forum.
Am I always destined to be the first to find these problems, I feel like a moaner!

OK, No problems I will sort it out. It is still restricted but needs to open to members.

Thanks Pete, do you think you could log in as a mortal when a problem is highlighted?

Whenever you say something is working OK, as a response to a problem, it always seems to turn out that it's because that 'something' is restricted to us non deities..

A better idea would be that when the 'something' doesn't work because we are not worthy, it then tells us that is the reason, instead of leaving us in the dark, a common courtesy surely?

Thanks again, Gra

Yes, makes sense. In fact I created myself another address to do this one thing but it was late so I did not get around to checking it.

Just remember what we did, there are two calendars selectable on the drop down. The idea was to have one open and the other closed but in hind sight I think it makes sense to just have the one and make it open.

I need to get this sorted, OK. Hopefully by tomorrow.

The original idea of two is sound and either setup has it's merits.

However, the front page of the site tells everyone how to use the user calendar and it sounds easy enough, it's just a bugger when it then doesn't work.....
:?

Cheers. Gra. :D
