Did you know this about insurance?

I read in Motorcycle News this week that if you sell a vehicle and do not cancel your insurance on it, and the new owner then rides it without their own insurance and has an accident involving a third party claim, YOUR insurance company may have to pay out AND can claim the costs back from you! I usually just leave it until renewal due to my bikes being on a multi policy...not any more. Just a thought

Not wanting to be controversial but surely once you`ve sold it it`s only natural to cancel the insurance , I always have or transferred it.

Thats one of the reasons I never used to bother...could be cheaper in the long term though..
P.S - the last one did not cost me to remove.
