Hi guys,I've finally got a working front brake after rebuilding the master cylinder,mind you it was a lot easier to disassemble as you can see as the circlip and washer fell to bits I even managed to provoke a skid at 5mph across the patio,maybe thats to do with the all original tyre which must have done all the 22,000 miles on the clock. I've put some flat bars on the old girl so my newly bought top brake hose is far too long (£10 plus postage to anyone interested ).The engine is in now at least ( crank by Gary C of course )and I need to get this collection of parts to perform before i worry about the cosmetics too much though the tank is terrible,

A nice clean engine It will be another bike saved so worth all the effort

Mick, where did you get the service parts form please?

I got my KH500 master cylinder parts from Kawasaki, they do still have a few parts.
Always worth a try if want original parts.

My bits were sourced from KawaTripleparts around £27 for the master cylinder kit,a fiddle to get right,can't afford to get this wrong
