Old bike mag

Is it only me or do others find it hard to chuck out old bike mags ? I think it's because I think they might have a value or will come in handy if I'm looking for a comparison of , now, 10 year old Jap 600 sports bikes. Anyway I'm winning as I'm only keeping copies of Bike and everything else is going to the bin, after being re read of course.

However, the point of this post. Classic Motorcycle Mechanics dated January 2010 has a long test on a purple KH400 owned by Nick Watson. Nick - if you are around and want the mag pm me your address, otherwise it's going in the bin....

Cheers

I don't find it hard at all.. they're all on bookshelf in the garage.. 2010 is far too new to chuck..

My oldest is 1972, the very first 'Bike' Mag..

Recent loft re-arrangement unearthed a copy of Bike magazine amongst other things.

Road test of an H2, Ogri plus an unplayed "Tears for Fear" album.

No headlamps as yet though.

(Not mastered quotations!)

Anyway Graham is it a " car magazine special" ? I still have mine. I also have an almost complete set of Road Racer too.

Aye lad, the first mag was a Car mag special, then it went quarterly in it's own right... then bi monthly.. then monthly.

I think I have the full set right into the 90s then I missed a couple at various times and finally gave up getting in it the early noughties.

Hi Nigel, if you can hang on to them, bring them to the NW Rally and stick them in a box on the signing in table.
