Alarm System

Just installed a wireless alarm system to protect my workshop and 2 bike storage sheds.
quite impressed ,5 door sensors ,5 PIR movment sensors.smoke detector,120 db alarm,3 remote key fobs,
sends a text to my phone allerting me which sensor has been activated.
£80................ cheeper ones available with fewer sensors

Looks good value to me. Might just invest in one myself.

It works OK, I take it? Any snags we should know about?

I must get round to getting a lock fitted to my shed door as well, you can't be to careful nowadays !

There was an issue with folk hacking the wireless sensors on this type of alarm...

and you need a lot of batteries.
.. I'd stick with (old fashioned) hard wired sensors......they are a pain in the ar*e to install but......fit and forget
