Who is a reliable and trusted chromer to re-chrome a wheel rim and retain the Takasago stamping?

I don't want it polished to death, just a nice sympathetic re-chrome.

The last one I had done the chromer took out the marking completely, despite a promise that they'd done loads and would retain the stamping.

I used Quality chrome in Hull. But you need to go in and talk with them.

dont use chromefix. the 4 x plated my wheels and i lost all the markings a precious date stamps from my rimsthey put so mcuch copper and chrome plating on my wheel shafts they were too big but didnt touch the threaded end which shows. very disappointing. especially when i learnt from classic mechanics just across the river from me was a place in hull as mentioned in the last post which could have done a much better service..oh and some alloy polishing they did was no better than i could porduce in my own workshop.... we live and learn.. i should have joined the KTC before i started the rebuild..

I just dropped four to him Wednesday night

i used Quality Chrome in Hull, polished date stamps out of the rims but still had pitting. Also tried to polish a dent out of my mudguard even though I told them to strip it only, now scrap. I left photos of everything with instructions on each.
