Just found this on my mobile - early morning at Shakey last year. Roll on Summer.

Not sure whose bikes they are.

A very artistic and atmospheric shot Nick..

Yep it's here, but the air is still a bit nippy. I got the H2 out even though she was a pig to ride last month.. Clutch snatched badly and on long hard runs she jumped out of fifth.. I thought I'd have one last run to warm her up before dumping the oil and removing the engine..

But before I set off I thought I'd check that oil.. Nothing on the Dipstick and the gear teeth on the Clutch basket were bone dry, even having turned her over several times they were still bone dry. Oh dear... There have been no pools of oil just an odd drip so where it's gone I dunno, garage floor is dry. :smt102

I put what little oil I had left down the hole and could see it now in the bottom so the rideout was on!
The trip included the local Gliding Club, then up to Squires Caff, down to Mozzies and filled up, across to Scouse's (they were out) so a good hard (1 junction M62) thrash home seemed due.
It all went well so instead of going home, I called at Fitzy's (an Ex Tripler) for a coffee and then down to Oldman Rays for another.
Instead of coming back via the local roads I came via M180 / M18 / M62, all without a hint of trouble.. The transmission has been perfect, just that horrible vibration still comes and goes, I'll cure it one day..

I may have worn some bits in the gearbox but until it dies, I'm OK with it.

So guys! If the Clutch starts to snatch, check that oil level..!

Probably about the same mileage James, didn't see you at Squires, mind you I only did a tour of the car park and seeing no other strokers, I came straight out again about 13:00ish.. it was packed even though the Egg Run had left earlier.
