Who remembers or even bought a triple from Fosgaties in coulsdon on the south side of london they were involved in the importing of every thing classic from the seventies.few H1s Z1 KZ65O KZ750 twins etc ...It was 1993 I bought a wreck of an American cdi H1A with quite a few of the hard to get parts missing £300...Hobighob. .Stephen Hodgkins

Yes, that's a name from the past alright, I went there a couple of times in the early nineties to look a h2s they were always in need of a little attention but at reasonable prices. I eventually found a nice 71 h2 in another bike importers in north London.

I found myself out of me depth with the American shit box .no air box no carbs 1 muffler missing distributor parts no where to be found .Me and my younger brother went there every Friday for a couple of months before going to the Friday pub drinking sesh'We used to get so exited all the American models with different paint work and different cc ....350 Honda 4 by the score ..Anyway I got talking to the men working there and told them of my worries about ever getting the American H1A running ...CDI Electronic was not my thing ...Just put points on they said ...then just as I was feeling even more perplexed the said that they had another H1A in the other room someone had done a px for an H2 so it owed them £1000...it was complete still in MOT. ..Running with 3 sets of points it was a UK Model ..I asked if there was any chance of a px with the heap they had sold me .....No fucking chance . Not for that pile of shit ..cheers ...scratched me head ..shook his dirty hand got my weeks wages out and my brothers...balance via 2 cash point cards. and rode the thing home to Brighton. .the smoke down the A23 during Friday rush hour was un believable. .Hobighob. .Stephen Hodgkins. .
