Saw this at the Kempton Park autojumble on Saturday. Am I wrong for thinking that the £8k he was asking is a bit much?

Started first time and sounded okay. Is that the going rate for H2's now then?

For a runner probably yes.
Ive sold a non runner for £7500 but is was standard and it was a couple of years ago.
There worth what someone is prepared to pay

A full resto will cost £5K+ depending on how original you want to make it and assuming you're not paying someone else to strip and build it. Add that to the purchace price and compare it to what restored ones are going for and you've got an idea on the potential.
If you wanted to restore it back to original (paint, pipes, air box etc. etc.) you'll be struggling to get your money back...
However if you want to keep it, don't add up the costs and enjoy

Quick paint job and off you go !! On the road with a new set of tyres for below £8500 ?
Worth £9500-10500 with a reg plate, new c&s , tyres and a paint job ?
( Now if only we knew somebody to do the paint.......??!! )
