Hi all I'm sure there is loads of threads but I'm not the best at all this kinda stuff....I've got several bikes now to insure all classics ....any recommendations would be appreciated

I use Hagerty's for multiple machines

Try R H insurance loads cheaper than others just put another bike on ZXR 750 that will be no charge sir can't say fairer than that

I've just changed to RH. Was with Carol Nash for a few years but they sting you for "admin charges" every time you want to make a change...typically £35+.
RH don't charge for changes and the annual premium was also very competitive.

Cliff, don't forget to mention that you are a club member, most classic insurers will give you preferential rates for being in an owners club.

I phoned RH and they were £170 less on my two bikes then carol Nash. Jog on CN

I've got about 14 bike insured with RH. Very reasonable and they give you the salvage in the event of a write off. No admin fees.

I approached them regarding a club discount and they very nicely got back to me apologising that they couldn't offer a discount because they believed they were offering the best deal for classics anyway. Fair enough.

I’ve too have been with RH for a few years now .
It makes a big difference that they don’t charge admin fees when you make changes and so all mine are with them and agreed values without hassle .
I still ask Peter James for a quote and they do come quite close but I don’t bother with Carole Nash anymore because they simpley are too expensive , although I know a few are that are still with CN and when they get a renewal they phone them and they reduce the price !

Yes they do.

RH provide free breakdown and recovery cover on my classic bike insurance ( classic = anything over 15 years old ). They recovered me and my Fazer from the Dolomite region in Italy in 2017.

Yes I also found RH much cheaper for my S3A. Best deal though for my more modern bikes was with Bikesure. I got fed up with CN and their expensive renewals which they'd then reduce if you told them you'd got a cheaper deal.

Watch out for RH they are getting tight with there money.
I have 2 months left to run. I asked to have 3 bikes removed and a s2 added and a change of address . The guy on the phone did it for me no charge.
Then 2 days later another guy rings up asking for £57 to update my policy
I told him not to bother, i will go elsewhere in 2 months time..

I went with RH insurance was less than £160 for 3bikes 1500 MLS per bike plus named rider...still gotta sort out agreed valuation so may increase slightly....also told them that my h2c has carbs chambers and filters
