Sprint at Deal ?

Star Classic may be a new name for you but our background in putting on successful shows is now well established. We were heavily involved with the Ramsgate Sprint Revival in 2015, the Ramsgate Rev Up in 2016 and Bikes at the Bay in Sandwich (2017). We are now putting a fantastic classic bike Sprint on this summer and hope you will be interested.
On August 10/11th we are running the Heritage Sprint at Betteshanger Park near Deal. This is a two day event on a 250 acre site that’s got a superb track area with loads of space and activities for adults and kids. Most importantly we expect to see around 4000+ people over the weekend so it’s a chance for a lot of folk to really understand what makes two-wheelers such fun. As well as the chance to see and hear classic bikes being used seriously, we’ve got plenty of extra attractions for visitors of all ages and interests including e-bike demos (they may be quiet but, boy, do they shift!) live music on both days, a rolling road/dyno tester and a wicked selection of foods and drink.
However what we want more than anything is to have bikes, their owners and enthusiasts all on display – and in particular we reckon it’s a great place for clubs to showcase themselves, talk about their machines and attract new members. Secure space is available for the biggest display you can put on! There’s further information on our website www.motorcycle-events.co.uk and I’ve attached a copy of our event flyer for reference – also a short form to confirm your interest which I’d ask you to return. We will shortly receive some posters which I’d be happy to send out if you have a clubhouse or office to display in and additional flyers if needed to hand out at meetings. Bona fide clubs will have free stand space and 6 complimentary weekend passes for their members. If you want more details please give me a shout.
Finally we do still have some slots available for competitors – so if you have members who may be interested in entering the 1/8th mile sprint, please let them know. Applications and Supplementary regs have been published – please send any enquiries to lisa@motorcycle-events.co.uk
