Looks like a good pub. The facebook link doesn't work. What's the ticket price, is it pay on arrival? Will there be any bands?

so far the furthest my H1 has gone without breaking down is 47 miles - it's 143 miles from north devon to cotwolds and 143 miles back so I'm not confident but I'll give it a go !
my first rally - any tips?

My advice to you would be to hire a van, travel up in comfort, take the bike on the ride and rev the tits off it, return to site, drink beer and chat, slkep in the back of the van.
A lot less stressful than wondering if your bike will make it or not, that way you at least guaranteed of the social side if the bike let's you down.
Oh and headache tablets

Yes, most people pack up early Sunday morning and set off when you can pass the breathalyser

They were when Bill and his mate worked from his Bedroom... but the name is taken from Micro(computer (which is small))Soft(ware) anyway..
A more jammy piece of luck is almost unimaginable...
IBM were looking for BIOS software for this new computer they had built and rang a known software company. The boss was apparently out golfing and his wife refused to deal with them.. They rang around some more and found Bill who actually had no software that would do the job but went out and bought some outright and sold that to IBM.
As it turned out, that software was based on (but not copied from) the other Software company's product.. I wonder if they are still married?
