I have had my Accent ignition on my H1 for a few weeks now and done about 100 miles, It was a we bit more complicated to fit than the normal Accent ignition as you have to strip the 2 wires from the alternator away from the points wires and re-wrap the loom with the new pick up wires, wrapped mine with self amalgamation tape, also you have to set up a new timing mark as the original pointer has to be removed , I just fitted a temp bracket and timed the engine withe a dial and made a new mark. Once the engine is set up to start it can be fine tuned with a strobe and adjusted using the slotted holes on the backing plate. What I have noticed is right away the bike always starts 1st or second kick , it ticks over lovely and I have not yet had a plug foul on me. For the first time the bike is drivable at low revs as the mid range has vastly improved and it still pulls like a train above 6000. All in all I would give the system 10/10 so far. I currently stock the S Series Accent ignition. Once the H1B ignition is available I will be stocking this too.

excellent im fitting another to a S2 today great bit of kit

I think he is going to make some, I had to make a few mods to the pick up and the plate fouled slightly but I gave him sizes and that should be sorted, the only slight issue is timing it as you need to remove the pointer to fit it, so it will need to be re timed using a dial gauge. incidentally I was thinking on the original timing set up the pointer is on the plate so when you time the set of points that is fixed to the plate you are also moving the pointer when you adjust the plate. I was thinking this is incorrect the pointer should be independent of the plate and static anyone came across this issue before.
