Quite a few people have expressed an interest in staying in a hotel for the weekend.The closest hotel is the Red Lion Premier Inn, its less than a mile away from the Rally Site. See link below. As well as this there are loads of B&B's close by.

I am intrested in staying at a B&B (not the Pride lodge though) just thinking if we find out the numbers wanting to stay in a hotel/B&B we maybe able to get a good discount

I know konky (neil) and a maybe a couple of his mates want to stay in a B&B then there's me

how many more ???

I am going up to blackpool next week so can check some B&Bs out

Seriously, it should be ok.

There's nothing like a system full of alcohol to ward off sub zero temps. (just visit any city centre on a Sat night in winter for proof).

That tent looks a bit pokey though... 2 midget tent p'raps...... you'll be OK if you sleep diagonal Al..

Tents have no insulation properties, it's all down to the sleeping bags and I recently discovered that a rollmat is far better than a blow up bed.

Sunday, I would love to take the bike out but, I'm not sure. I have a lot of things to play with, erm, Garden, bikes (mine and others) car! quadbike, horses.

If you get some interest going Al and I'll pop up for a bit if poss, or you can bring a posse here if you want a decent cuppa not a mug of the pisswater they sell up there.

We have a NEW horsebox now you paupers, right posh thing it is too, trouble is it's a side loader, haven't tried to get bikes in it yet.
Separate groom area, could sleep in there even.

Weather was crap all day, sun came out just in time to go down it even rained a little at one point.

A friend rang from Wakefield (about 15 miles away) they were having glorious sunshine and were lounging in the garden..
