Good point Gra. Might explain my low oil usage on the Kawacati.
Will drain the tank and have a look.

Checked the consumption on the H1D yesterday and that is 414 miles per litre which is more like what I expected.
Work to do this winter

I thoroughly cleaned mine 10 years ago! Maybe check it this winter
