Hi all,
this is going to be interesting.
I read on the Rootes Archive Centre Trust facebook page, the Federation of British Historic Car Clubs take on the 10% ethanol and one paragraph stating,
the UK no longer produces ethanol, but ships it in from abroad! Although its counter productive and negates
any environmental benefits, the government has to meet a target that ensures 9.75% of all transport fuel must come from renewable sources by the end of the year.
The plus side of this as I read it, was they are proposing a 'protection grade' alongside E10 for historic vehicles.
Another read was on about Oxford CC
https://www.msn.com/en-gb/cars/news/gru ... spartandhp, bashing motorcyclist with statistics.
Of course statistics can be made to show anything you want!
mild rant over!
