Can anyone recommend a disc lock that fits the H-series discs?

Dude.....would love to help but my disc brake 500 is in London .....don't think either of the disc locks I have for the 675R would be long enough for the older discs with smaller carriers ???

Do you have drilled discs?
For standard disc it's a big U-lock through the spokes and forks.

No, my discs are standard.
I was looking for something more portable than a u-lock which is what I currently use.
It's too cumbersome either sticking out so far it almost falls out of your pocket or uncomfortable when shoved down the front of your jacket.
But it's better than a chain and padlock around your waist.(which I have outgrown now )
I've been looking, but there doesn't seem to be a disc lock available with a deep enough throat to go round the disc and carrier.

I use a U-Lock in the garage, but as you say too cumbersome to be carrying around with you.

Have you considered just a lock and/or a short chain through the spokes? I know there is more risk of damaging the spokes if it is moved, but in the end anything is just a deterent. And any would be thief will possibly not be bothered about what damage they do.

You can get a small u-lock and I have used these through the rear sprocket hole and chain.

That looks good - just needs spraying some bright colour so that people can see the bike is secured (and so I remember it's on there )
I've tried padlock through chain on other bikes, but people don't look for that and cause damage.

I always use one of those springy reminders and attach it to the brake or clutch lever.....

I have also used these before, although not as secure as a disc lock in my opinion, but a good visual deterrent and slips in a pocket....

It is much harder to push bike with the front wheel locked up as opposed to the rear.

There is a new type of lock out called Lifelock available from Motolegends at Guildford or Sportsbikeshop.co.uk
It’s not cheap at £139.99 but worth a look.
