Kawasaki Triples Club

Hi all
I am restoring a1976 KH250 and want it the same as I bought brand new back in the day, for a mighty £539 from Ray Wilson Motorcycles in Leicester. Am having trouble finding the paint codes, have tried RS Paint but no joy. Can anybody help ?

Candy Super Red and Candy Super Blue only 2 colors offered on the KH 250 in the UK for that year. RS should be able to sort that for you ???

Definitely neither of those. Think it was mainly a Kh400 colour

When I first saw your pic I thought it was the KH500 Copper colour, but just assumed that the photo had faded.

This has been discussed at length on the 250 FB group. If I understand Rick correctly, it seems there were a small amount of B1s wearing a strange reddy brown colour that has no official Kawasaki recognition (at least in regard to the 250s/400s). There was also a vaguely similar bronzy colour offered on the 76 KH400 called 'orange' but this is not it apparently. Seems to be an anomaly, a cock up in the paint shop perhaps, but another part of the history anyway.

Have replied to your post on Simon's forum as my B1 from back in 76 also had the same paint colour as yours, until you posted your B1 picture I'd never seen another one other than mine since then in the same colour.
