The Club are applying for a stand for the Stafford Show which is on October 9-10 this year.
This year’s theme is “Rallies”.
I have a few members who have said they will show their bikes. But I need a few more.
The bikes have to be on the stand by 08.30 Saturday (preferably Friday pm) and can’t go until 5pm Sunday.

Please let me know or any questions ask on here or email events@kawasakitriplesclub.co.uk

Club Stand has been confirmed by Mortons. Plot M44 Main Hall. (next to the pub)
I will contact those who have volunteered to show their bikes.

  No, it was a good weekend. Great to see everyone again and, whilst a bit quieter than usual, it was still pretty busy. I didn't take many photos but I'll stick a couple up when I've transferred them from my phone. I'm sure some others will have some photos but sadly most of them have migrated to FB and don't seem to be coming back.

Compared with even 5 or 6 years ago, the autojumble was crap. Mainly the same old shite they've been taking for years picked clean of all the decent stuff.
Michael Dunlop was the guest of honour.

Triples Club stand. On the 'grass' a bunch of 'riders' to reflect the club rally scene.

GT750 Kettle Club won best stand. It did look quite professional and they must have thrown quite some cash at it. It was a decent area, well lit and spaced with some stunning bikes and rideouts on a flat screen. Staff had natty matching overalls.

Not sure I agree with that. I think that we are averaging about three posts a day and the FB Group is about the same. Probably just a bit of apathy?

Like some others, I did a post on Facebook but here goes.....
The show was not as big as previous years , there were lots of gaps inside and out and , correct me if I'm wrong but one complete hall which normally has stall/stands was swallowed up by Bonnams. Which brings me to my first moan that the catalogues are now £30....Ouch ! ... and you cannot view the auction lots without one....when it forms such a big part of the show that is just crap in MHO.
I though the guys (and Gals !) had done a great job with the club stand and need to be congratulated. Following last years stunning stand was always going to be a tough ask but they did a great job with interesting bikes all nicely displayed. Every time I passed there seemed to be a good level of interest from punters. I'd agree with James on the autoumble....mostly overpriced rubbish which had clearly been dragged around the country over many years . The inside stands always had better stuff and it was the case this year too. There was a mention of crap phone signal and non-functioning card machines on Facebook and I can confirm this was the case. It's really not good enough for a venue like that and Mortons need to step up and push to get it sorted.
Regarding Covid and social distancing....there was none !!!

I didn't attend the show this year.

Bonhams have charged for catalogues for a number of years although it sounds as if the price has increased, a catalogue was always your admission to view the bikes in the sale

I remember years ago that mobile phone signal was patchy at best

Congrats to all our members who worked hard at putting the show together they deserve a round of applause
Thumbs Up

Sorry it has taken a while to post up pics here.
I tried to make the stand represent the Club and I felt that it did.
Thank you to all who helped out at the weekend, and a special thanks to those who showed their bikes.
While the gazebo was certainly visible it was difficult to get the lighting right.
All of the bikes generated interest and at times the stand was busy. The volumes of people however were not sustained as much as usual.
Outside there were many gaps and inside (especially the side halls there seemed more distancing between stands.
Mobile phone or internet was non existent.

Cheers for the pictures Nick, and well done everybody involved in the club stand. Thumbs Up

As we are finding, 3 months turns into 6 months turns into 12 months . . . . . . . Hopefully 2022 will be kinder and closer to normal.
