& it worked !!!
...not for long
...but at least it got back to the UK

Yes it is Guillaume with the green racing H1 the man who do the reparations on Gary and Simon's bikes.
This green racing bike with non standart frame has a PLT frame made by Pierre Louis TEBEC (who was GP racer on A7R then HIR on 69 71) on 1970 for race H1.
The first owner of this bike was Patrick PONS 750 world championship on 79 and sadly died at Silverstone on 1980.
Guillaume's uncle bought the bike from Patrick PONS on the seventies, had raced with this bike at on the seventies and does now classic bike race with it.
The frame has been seriously modified by Guillaume.

The view and the electrical pylons imply that you could be somwhere near Nozay, not far from Massey Palaceau, South West of Paris.................?

Did not know you went to paris as well wolfie

Nope - we were about 2 miles from the tunnel (fortunately!)

Was a good bike anyway, the HIA waited to be in England to die on the road
