Hello everyone !
We will be proposing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the H2 on the occasion of the Sunday Ride Classic at Paul Ricard in 2022 ! ***** 50 years of H2 at SRC in 2022 ***** 3662217958
Contacts have already been made several times for several months with the organizer Jean-Pierre BONATO, in particular by our friends Rémy S and Gégé. JPB is very happy to welcome the H2s, which he adores himself, and he will do everything possible to ensure that it is on top !! It is therefore a great opportunity to meet on this legendary circuit and in this sunny region!
He has asked us to start advertising the event now on our forum and on sites of our choice , so you will see below the photo he has already posted on his SRC Facebook page as well as the link to it.
@ Pierre-Jean if you read us .. JPB would also like you to advertise it on your Facebook H2 LOVERS site , with 2 or 3 words of explanation included in my prose below (including the down payments to register! ). Merci à toi tchin
Gégé is in a way the "local correspondent" for the moment, and he will meet him again very soon, with more details to come on the date ( in May in principle ), the proposed activities (parade on the circuit, etc.), restaurants and accommodation possibilities in the area.
It will be up to us to embellish all this by offering, for example, walks for those who want it in the beautiful roads of the Var, the distribution of T-shirts commemorating the event, etc., etc. For the moment as " naughty admins "we stick to it all 3 with Gégé and Jean-Louis to start the machine, but it is very likely not to say certain that we will ask for help from the goodwill for practical questions . kiss
IMPORTANT : JPB cannot reserve locations, parades on the circuit, catering, etc. without being absolutely certain that there will be a minimum number of reliable participants and their number. So a deposit serving as a reservation will be required to register, and we will make a progress report in a few weeks or months to see how it looks !!
You can start asking questions in this post, and contributing ideas, knowing that Gégé will have more details in the coming week.

I believe we will be enough frenchs (to say nothing about bloody foreigners) for the event.
Wolfie (and myself) will keep you inform.
For those who will come I will have a few beds (and parking for bikes and if it's a van must be a non surelevated one) in Paris on the way to go and on the way to come back home.

the few beds and parking are of course for free.
The beds will be on mother in law small flat which is on the same bulding that my flat.
have 3 single beds inside but one or two more could sleep ion the ground with sleeping bags!

I would love to be there JP but just at the moment I have a broken H2 to resurrect and no Bikebus, the prices are through the roof at the moment so I'll wait until next year to decide on a purchase.
It would be a full Holiday for me to visit friends down there too.. Will play it by ear.

have a H2 for you Wolfie just to come on Paris with the speed train sleeping at mother in law flat then just 750 kilometers to go (with a bigger tank 19.5 liters on my B) by highways (excepted the last 40 kilometers on curvy roads) sadly as roads with 80 KPH speed limits (but I will have a look if I can find curvy roads w/O cops and radars on a part of the trip) are too much boring

it is usaually on may and the exact dates will be known soon.

The dates are the following
the SUNDAY RIDE CLASSIC at Paul Ricard track will be 11 and 12 th of june 2022.
Any Uk guy who will come will be please to say to me (which bike, wirth bike or with van or trailer, how many with the missie for exemple)

or if you'ren't sure
cause we want to know how many we could be.

Ive stayed at Sainte-Maxime Opposite St Tropez which is near but you right Sam its a long haul!
Not to bad a drive.........1006 miles, 16 hours 27 minutes from Timperley

yes long way, great bill for fuel but for those who will come on thursday at home in Paris, with free beds (or sleeping bags for the lasts if you're many ), you will all get for free a french diner with french cheeses which stink and burgundy red wine (Vosne Romane 2016) then on friday morning before starting french breakfast with croissants and baguettes
We can doing camping on the track and we manage also lunch and dinner on the track unless we book a house or a flat near the track.

This sounds like fun. Will be looking for hotel accommodation though as not enough room on the bike for camping equipment.
Probably meet you all there as I will split the trip up over a few days.
Will need to see how the year pans out.

You can come with an other Kawasaki triple (250 350 400 500) and the four
kawa "triple" are also accepted
All could do the parade on the track.
If need we can manage to put some tents for the bloody foreigners

I did 6 Bol Dor's in the 80's on either a GPZ550 or GS1000S, the circuit is amazing (although you probably wont be able to have campsite bonfires nowadays
). It's a long ride but to do it on one of my H2's would be amazing. Pencilled in
