H2/B (high bar) cables

Hi
I managed to do a silly thing, discarding, and chopping old control cables when stripping down very rusty projects "I'll NEVER need these manky, rusty, seized old cables" I chuckled to myself
having since tried on my first restore to use aftermarket cables, I now realise the value I slung out.
none of the first set of aftermarket cables were a success, some downright dreadful, and no comeback from supply as I'd had them on the shelf too long while slowly rebuilding
I did later on get some made up by Venhill, that were lovely, by sending in very accurate measurements from the "wrong" cables to correct the length errors and so on, and including the bad aftermarket cables to refer to, and said they could cannibalise if needed for splitters etc.
so for the current project (another 1974 H2/B, USA Import, so high bars) I need another set of cables, Venhill didn't keep my measurements, and I also now don't have a bad set to send in as a base pattern to modify, and to be honest I don't really want to strip them out of the working bike, which took soo-oo-oo long to get running properly.
trawling the various auction and web resources show OEM (genuine OEM, not the "OEM" but not Kawasaki OEM !) cables to be thin on the ground
So here is where I'm asking for help
if i can get my hands on a genuine set of throttle and choke cables, as nasty and rusted as you like, (or pristine and lovely) these would be purely as a pattern from which to get a good set made - not to be butchered or cut in any way
I do have an OEM clutch cable - so that one is covered
I do also have an OEM speedo and an OEM tacho cable, new in bags - so also covered
I am going to get 3 x sets made for myself (3 projects sitting in the garage) - but would happily get more made if there is a genuine need
I could get a set made from accurate dimensions, but patterns would be best
fingers crossed some otherwise old and useless cables can be put to good use to make available an aftermarket set of cables that actually fit and work !
