Went to an autojumble today with my mate Roger. This particular one is arranged twice a year. It's cars, bikes and a flea market. There used to be a little triple parts there in previous years, but not anymore. There was a 72 S1 for sale. White, everything there (more or less), and it was registered. He wanted 2500 quid for it. Not too bad. I also ran across 2 71 G3SS'. One registered, 1500 quid for both. Tempting, as I like the 71's. We spent a few hours looking around, then drove out of town to have a look at a parts lot that Rog came across in an ad yesterday. Turned out to be a good deal. 1 complete set of H2B tins, 1 complete set of H1E tins, an H1F tank and tail, H1B/C left side cover, a set of H1E barrels and heads, H1E frame, H2B frame, forks and swing arms, 2 H2B seats- one very good, H2 battery box with ignition boxes, 3 wheels, some electric bits as coils etc, H1E clocks, head lamp etc. A complete set of H2 FBG's and a set of Street Harriers for S2 (norwegian made spannies). After a while, the guy dragged out a red H2C tank and tail. I looked at Roger's face when he saw the C tank, and I just knew it was going to be a deal. The guy wanted 500 quid for the lot, but Rog haggled it down to 400. He'll get his money back in no time just by selling the pipes. The Street Harriers are already sold. It was well worth the trip out of town

Bloody bargain that lot - doubly so at your normal Norwegian prices. Congratulations.

I am looking for an old seat cover for a H2B (must be original Kawasaki). Something not good enough to use but good enough for a pattern. A few tears and tatty is OK.
If you have one like this then would you be prepared to part with one. The deal is you get a new (re-manufactured) one in return but you won't get the old one back.
I have been working with someone on this for some time and he has the H1E/F covers just about 'dead on'. I can send you a picture of my E/F one if you like.

Has RB stopped doing these seat covers then Peter? Seems a bit odd to re-invent the wheel.

OK, let me know what you decide. I will be sending my 'C' seat cover in a few weeks.
A 'B' cover could follow some time after that. In th emeantime I will keep looking for another tatty one just in case you don't want to sacrifice yours.

It's not mine, but he will sacrifice it. I'll take some pics of it so you can verify that it's the original cover. It has a short tear on the side. That's about it.

Tears are no problem, as long as it is original Kawasaki.
