I struggle with bikes like that and wouldnt like to value one? It's sold for more money than a mint H2,

There is always a market for 'one off' specials or indeed limited number specials like this from Allan Millyard, I just don't know where, or if? they fit into the Classic Bike scene

It`s a purely personal thing Tilly. I know I didn`t join a Classic Bike Club when I joined this one , way back in the day. It was a small club for wierods who still rode obsolete old knackers , against the , then , trend for modern sports bikes ?
This " Classic Bike Scene " has evolved around , and despite , old codgers like me . And it seems, " The Rules " are constantly being rewirtten in an holier than thou manner !! Always amazed at the tut tut remarks " oh what a waste of a classic triple " spewed out against some of Simon Whitelocks creations ?!!
Go figure !!

I've got nothing against the multi cylinder creations Neil, nor do I think they're a waste of a triple and I certainly wouldn’t tut tut at one either
I saw a 4 cylinder that Alan had done with 2 rd lc cylinders stuck onto the kawasaki crankcases, I thought that sounded unbelievably good

I think everyone has their beliefs on 'how' a classic bike should look, it's a debate that could go on for hours or pages and get nowhere, In my eye's the acceptable 'Patina' would be akin to walking into Bill Smiths in 1976/77 and buying a 12/18 month, 3000 mile H2c, 'Patina' seems to vary from that 18 month old look to a bike that is covered in rust with a faded out fuel tank that you could just make out 'Kawasaki' on the side of the tank.
No one is right or wrong, it's just a personal thing as you said
