ive finally come to the end of the clutch case saga..my clanking whirring rat tat days are through ,despite having the massive weald dremaled the inside of the casing was so warped ect that the clutch still hit it!, sending debris down into my sump...this weekend a friend loaned me a good one from his stored h2b ..bingo no noise in an instant..WHAT A RELIEF....of course i have to return this casing and now im scouring e bay for one...question guys ..for the authentic amongst us ...1.4 litres and kick start..these scribblings ? are they on the a/b/c/ model h2s or just the cb/c/?...my bikes h2c but came with this dopey wealded case with no writing...because ive seen one on e bay but no 1.4 ect....mr tax insured m.o.t but no casing ...yet.

Hey Peter, don't bin that cover as it's an ideal candidate for someone that is looking to fit a lock up clutch and so modify it in the area where yours was scraping. It's be far better to use that one instead of chopping up a good one.

As Gary says - early covers have no writing on, but they are completely interchangeable.
