Anyone able to shed any light on this photo?

This photo has been going around my close group of mates over the last couple of days.
They reckon it's taken in the UK. I don't think so.
The sticker on the tank says 'Bardini Motori' which, my Italian wife says, translates to 'Bardini Motors' in English.
I'm guessing that's probably a dealership name, and probably in Italy ... but who knows.

Bardini Motori Kawasaki.jpg

The bike has had a right-hand gear change set up with rearsets. Oddly, the pipes have yet to be scraped or dented, kickstart lever modified to clear the footpeg, no steering damper or centrestand (no surprise there)

I guess I'm most interested to know if anyone knows anything about Bardini Motori.

Cheers,

Jeff

Are you sure it just says "Bardini" Jeff?

The tank sticker looks to be a lot longer than that name..

However, there was a racer called Dominique Bardini in the early seventies, I can only find his Porche Racing records so far..

I wonder if it is actually Lombardini Motori, an old Italian engine maker. They perhaps could have been a sponsor

Not in France production races 1000cc or unlimited.
Kick starter or passenger footpeg must be put off ;)

Thanks Pierrot, I’ll get my Italian wife to read it to me.
