Clean disc, new pads, copper grease on back of pads.

How does it stay in place Graham? Has it to be the same profile as the pad?

I've forgotten, they've been in there some years.... or maybe they haven't ????

It's been quiet ever since... Maybe some of you oldies remember how bad mine squealed??? I used to play it when coming to a stop...

Did that to mine! Was squealing again with 5 miles. I've recently fitted another caliper and it was working well with no squeal. But then I noticed fluid weeping from the bleed nipple thread. Tried a few things to sort it, but not there yet. I may swap the new piston I fitted to the replacement caliper into my old caliper!
