H2 Main Stand

I'm new to the 750 Triple scene so am finding things out as I go along. I'm sure I'll be posting plenty of questions in the coming months. I have just purchased a 1972 H2, and fitted a mainstand that was missing. My question is, are these bikes notoriously difficult to put onto the mainstand. I really have struggled?

To save the old back and because I use a trolley under the mainstand, which makes it more of a pull,I made a little wooden ramp two or three inches high. I run the front wheel up onto the ramp and the bike just falls onto the stand.

Skub thanks for the reply, appreciated. That sounds like an easy fis using a ramp

I have a simple 2 foot long, inch thick plank.
I just roll it on backwards on it & it's easy to put on stand.

The lift handle at the back (Part no: 32109-012) is a big help too! Worth getting if it is missing.
