Brake callipers advice

Hopefully one of you can give me one advice regarding the positioning of the brake callipers. I recently bought an H2C and very soon had to replace the speedo cable, bought one from Z power and it barely fits, it’s too tight the calliper is in the way. My callipers are mounted on the rear of the shocks which I thought was something to do with the twin disc conversion. Having looked at various images available there seems to be little or no consistency.
It makes more sense to me to have mounted on the rear because of the wheel rotation etc. just wondering what your thoughts were ?

Please pardon the obvious errors in my original post: for shocks read forks and please excuse any spelling mistakes!

Just fit a longer speedo cable. Early Z1 may do the job, call Z Power and ask them to compare the two before purchase.

HI Chris, the calipers were in front of the fork legs as standard, but it became fashionable to swap the legs and mount them behind, as that was the "modern" way. It is supposed to improve handling, but you would probably need to be Marc Marquez to notice the difference.

The standard H2 speedo cable that we sell is 815mm long, what is the length of yours?

Have you measured it? KH & S are shorter but same end fittings, so easy to mix up. Don't assume that it is correct, put a tape measure on it Thumbs Up

Sorry my reply was poorly written yes I did measure it, I have managed to get a 940mm as a replacement, I believe it’s an early Z cable but has the same fittings. Thanks anyway.
