Hi People some of you may or may not know that after this months SPSG KTC Bum Burner evening on Wedesday 24th June 09 Phil The Paint Trashed his new S3A less than a mile from home!

He & his bike hit a huge pot hole the bike sumer-soughted through the air with Phil still on it & hit the tarmac with such force that the bike is totalled & poor old Phil has a broken right Wanking Wrist

As he is right handed anyway the Doc has writtern him off work for 6 weeks.

Here is a small selection of photos & a small video showing Phil & his pride now both broken.

Although none of this is nice for anyone when it happens, at the end of the day Phil it's just a bit of tin & can be re-built which I know your going to do anyway as I am donating some parts!

What's more important is that you are OK, as we know many others have not been so lucky in lesser crashes.

he is a top bloke.
at least broken bones will heal and the bike can be repaired.
and yes i would also be gutted about the NOS pipes but i do know how it feels as i did it it in 1992 on my S2A .

phoned Phil the other day
as i knew he would be off work

shame about the bike

but that bone i broke the same 1 about 10 years back

forgot to tell him i cut the plaster cast off after 3 weeks with a hacksaw,when i went back the nurse said OH they cut the cast off alllready

healed ok though

Cee Van is not automatic & its definitely not a Renault Megan ha ha ha but Philip is going to drive it all the same

That's a real bummer Phil, hope the wrist mends quickly and get a letter off pronto to whoever at the council pretends to look after the local roads Some one needs to pay and it should'nt be your insurance.

if the hole was marked out before you hit it then you have a case against the council Phil ,as they knew about it and have not filled it in

WWould be the same in France and no I'm not member of a british bar
