Just wanted to say hello, I’m Chris from Lincoln
Picking up 2 KH250’s this weekend, all in bits 🤣

Iv had air cooled td’s before but never any kh’s so I’m sure I’ll be annoying the hell out of you all with stupid questions 🤣🤣

This is the 2 frames, there’s loads of other parts too

The guy has lost the ref plates and v5s so I’m going to have to try to the reg from the con numbers

Hi Chris, if the bike owners were last changed after 1981, they should be on the DVLA database. If you know a tame trader with a HPI account, you can often get the registration details from the frame number if they are on the database.

It's worked for me a few times and saves a lot of aggravation with DVLA. You then just apply for a replacement and pay your £25.

Welcome Chris and hope you get lots of joy from your Bikes.. Although I daresay there will be a lot of trubble first. C'est la vie.

Maybe Rick Brett can help you find the original REG Numbers from the frame and Engine numbers. He's 'El Presidente' on here.


I'll be heading down your way, taking an S3 back to a member in Willingham by Stow in the next few days, may be one of your neighbours!

Thanks guys, I’m going to start loosely putting them together this weekend and see what we have

Iv managed to match engines to frames so that’s a start

After lifting it all in and then out of the car I can see why there not that fast lol
