This was I remember.
As I'm frustrated to have miss the Northern I manage to come on my 69 H1, but is there a really secure bikes park?

OK folks, listen up!
As already mentioned in the club magazine (and in this thread), the club is using the H1's 40th anniversary as the theme for the club stand at the Stafford show on 17th and 18th October. Richard Young and I have a number of bikes lined up for the show (thanks to the willing volunteers

), but we still have to complete the set of every H1 in every colour.
So, if you've got one of the following bikes in (ideally) standard trim and in showable condition (tidy and upwards!), then please reply to this posting or PM me (our contact details are also in the magazine):
H1B (Pearl Candy Orange)
H1D (Candy Lime)
H1F (Candy Sky Blue)
KH500 (Deep Burgundy)
We need to confirm entries before 22nd August, but want to get this sorted in the next few weeks, so please pass on the message to anyone you know with one of these bikes who doesn't use the website. It is a commitment, but it promises to be a great weekend as usual.

Blimey!! That was a better and quicker response than I was expecting

. I've noted down your kind offers and will see what else comes out of the woodwork over the next few days, but in theory we only need an H1D and we're there (plus a fight over which H1B!). I think we'll have to pass on the red H1A and purple H1B.....shipping costs might be inhibitive

. Sam - thanks for the offer, but we're aiming at nominally standard trim for this one if possible

.
The next step is I'll PM you about logistics, for any first-timers!!

I'll note it anyway as there may (will!!) be some last-minute cancellations. Also, I'm not sure of the plans yet, but, as mentioned in the club magazine, we're lining ourselves up for the NEC Classic Motor Show in November as well, so anyone who is keen and doesn't make the Stafford show for some reason could do this one, but it's 3 days, plus set-up the day before!!! Details in due course once we've sorted the Stafford line-up.
