Rear Shock Absorbers Recommendations

Hi
What rear shocks do you use on your H1’s and H2’s road bikes?
I have both the pattern type from Z power and similar outlets and Hagons on various triples.
The Hagons all seem to be too firm in compression and damping and the generic ones just seem to be chromed pogo sticks with no discernible damping and rebound control.
What have you tried that looks period but is fully adjustable?
Thanks

Clive,
Ive set of nice originals off a H2B for £95 or a set of Koni dial a rides that were on my H2B when I drag raced it in 2007 for £150. There both sat here collecting dust.
The dial arides are still available but are £460!
